The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's bout.
Former two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really going ahead.
